Twenty:20 archiveHeadingley Carnegie. July 2013. Ace Yorkshire batsman Rick Fielding has been called up at the eleventh hour to represent his country against the old enemy: Australia. The problem is that whilst Rick is a superstar of 'Twenty20' cricket, he's never played a test match in his life. Can he possibly squeeze in a match winning innings between a celebrity photo shoot for 'Hello' and the quarter finals of Strictly Come Dancing? This hilarious one-act play takes the audience on a whirlwind tour of today's short attention span world, where Tweeting has replaced the art of conversation, and all we can hope for is 24 hours of wall to wall reality TV.
