Budding playwrights are to see their work performed for the first time at the award-winning Brindley by some of the area's leading thespians. Some of the borough's most promising new writers entered their work in the new writing project,
Write Now...Act Later? now in its third year in Halton. The project, developed by local artist Roy Hayes and Halton Borough Council's Arts Officer, Claire Bigley, was open to all writers aged 16 or over who work, live or study in the Borough. This year our winners were Robert Burns, Harold Savage and Janet Eaton. All three short plays will be performed by local actors at The Brindley on Saturday 14 June.
