Details
A lyrical rendering of the quite tragic story of one of Scotland's great female visionaries, Mary Queen of Scots. This captivating play is set in different locations in and around Edinburgh and has been brought right up to date, in Theatre Alba style, since its first production at the Glasgow Citizen's Theatre in 1951. Written in a light poetic Scots, the machinations of politics then are seen to be perhaps not so very different than of today!
