Details
The exile, Greta, having turned away from everything that once could have been called her identity - including her religion - allows the ghosts to call her home to Northern Ireland and to her family. In doing so she finds herself confronting the identity that she so wilfully excluded for so long.
After Easter was first performed by the Royal Shakespeare Company at the Other Place, Stratford in May 1994 and in Northern Ireland at The Lyric Players Theatre, Belfast in November of the same year.
