Details
The play was staged for the first time at the Argentina Theatre in Rome in 1933, directed by Luigi Pirandello and performed by Marta Abba Theatre Company. Luigi Antonelli was a friend and contemporary of Pirandello, and one of the moving spirits of the 'grotesque' theatre in Italy. In this play, an act of homage to the actor and to the theatrical technique, he imagines a great actor who, while teaching a group of students, meets the daughter of the great love of his life. Performed in Italian.
