Details

Set during a performance of 'The Magic Flute', controversial Austrian playwright Thomas Bernhard dissects the still-warm corpse of opera with macabre precision. The individual's desperate attempt to overcome isolation, Bernhard's obsession with the medical profession, his sarcasm and mockery of institutions are the leitmotif of this bizarre and powerful work.
