Alex Crudupp holds the key to immortality....he just doesn't know it yet! It's 2039 and the demographic time bomb has detonated! Alex is having a strange 80th birthday. A Chinese agent is trying to convince him that he isn't a retired plumber from Reading but the inventor of bio-quantum computing. It appears only Alex can say whether England PLC is offering cut price immortality or geriatricide. But first he has to go on the run!
