'Sometimes you knock on the wrong door but the right person answers it' John lives a quiet life alone in Portsmouth when into his life bursts Mavis, a ball of energy and excitement who wishes to purchase the flat upstairs. Over the course of an afternoon can these two unlikely companions find a connection? Is chocolate better than sex? And can the sins of the past be forgiven? Freehold is a comedy-drama about chocolate, gin, Dutch bicycles and haunted pasts.
