Dive Urgence, cracks in the wall, uncertain futures, shifting values and definitely too much jumping! Inspired by the historian Eric Hobsbaun's vision of the early decades of the new millennium, the company of allsorted tumblers, wisecracks, good-time guys and fast-forward girls freefall, bicker and juggle with the future of their small world. Meanwhile the big world outside throws them a few cruel dilemmas that they find hard to catch. Dive Urgence present a cascade of images and short stories, set against a sound track of music and spoken text, with an extensive use of physical skills, acrobatic fast footwork, juggling, trapeze and jump-up comedy. Circomedia is acknowledged as the leading centre of contemporary circus and physical theatre in Britain.
