A Soiree in a Cemetery archiveAn interactive variety night set in a secret Victorian cemetery. This is the first in a planned series of community events where people have a chance to meet new folk, laugh hard, experience something unexpected and leave feeling warm and happy Guests are invited to an immersive promenade around the graveyard with pop up performances curated by Martin Soan, followed by comedy from Stewart Lee and shadow puppetry from the award winning Matthew Robins in one of London's 'Magnificent Seven' Victorian cemeteries. Also featuring; Musician, composer and a teller of stories, Nigel of Bermondsey. Songs from The British Humanist Choir - a London-based humanist choir offering cover songs and originals - a choir for anyone who wishes to sing non-religious music. Puppetry from Henry Maynard (Co-director of Flabbergast Theatre and co creator of Boris & Sergey) Plus special surprise guests and tea, cake, hot toddies and hot spiced cider from the WI. BRING warm clothes, a torch and an umbrella if it looks like rain. Blankets available on the night.
