The Mole and the Worm; an underground tale archive

"You haven't come to rescue me... And they're not waiting for me up there?... And you thought... you thought I was a rock?... You do that to rocks?" Through cavernous dusk, damp and darkness, a lonesome Spanish pot-holer discovers an antique English girl buried, forgotten in time. A web of cruelty and unlikely kinship is wound in this darkly innocent tragicomedy. Weird and wonderful, intriguing and atmospheric, this award winning creation from Barcelona-based Teatro Entre Escombros is unlike anything else you'll see this year. Performed in English with a special one-off Spanish performance on Tuesday 24 April.
