OTC's Writers' Block weeks are exciting, bi-annual platforms for the very best in new writing, attracting top artists and extensive industry recognition. This is the eighth Writers' Block presented by OTC, one of the country's leading new writing companies. Four out of the six plays presented in the December 2007 Writers’ Block are now in production or have productions pending. Successful transfers from recent weeks include The Cracks in My Skin by Phil Porter (that won the Bruntwood Playwriting Prize and is to be produced at the Royal Exchange later this year), Someone Else’s Shoes by Drew Pautz (produced by ETT at Soho Theatre), and The Night Season by Rebecca Lenkiewicz that was produced at the National Theatre and won her the Critics’ Circle Most Promising Playwright Award.
