WayOutWest, a collective of some of the UK's leading jazz musicians, return to the Orange Tree. The line-up for the 22nd includes Eddie Harvey (ex Johnny Dankworth 7, Humphrey Lyttelton Bad, Parliamentary Jazz Awards winner), saxophonists Chris Biscoe and Pete Hurt, both of whom worked extensively with Andy Sheppard and American jazz legend George Russell, and Tim Whitehead, musician in residence at Tate Britain, as well as singers Nette Robinson, Katriona Taylor and Emily Saunders. Repertoire for the evening will include great standards, jazz classics by Thelonious Monk, Cedar Walton and John Coltrane, and music composed by members of Way Out West.
