Over the last few years, audiences in Plymouth have taken Hugh Hughes, the much-loved emerging Welsh artist, to their hearts. Now he returns to the Drum and invites everyone to his Wonderful World. In a retrospective of the award-winning work he has presented nationally and internationally since leaving the small town of Llangefni, Hugh shares Floating, Story of a Rabbit and Hugh Hughes in 360 - three joyful stories inspired by his own life. Alongside this, he’ll be showing some brand new work, Stories from an Invisible Town and How I Got Here created especially for the residency. It’s your chance to catch all of his shows together, enjoy his brand new pieces or to see any you might have missed last time around. Stories From an Invisible Town / How I Got Here: Hugh is creating his next show with an audience. All he needs is for you to help him. He has also made a film about his journey off Anglesey and into the world of art which he will watch with you. Come and join him for both events.
