White Riot is an honest and poignant exploration into some of contemporary British society's taboo and controversial issues. The play uses the framework of football violence to explore a father and son's relationship, and discusses tolerance, pride, changing generational attitudes, the role class plays in higher education and the complexity of aspiration.
