BE FESTIVAL is Birmingham's European theatre festival, bringing together the most daring and delightful shows from across the continent. Supported by The REP, the festival takes place every July. Best of BE FESTIVAL offers you the chance to see three award-winning festival favourites, each half an hour long. The shows are from a range of countries and styles and can be enjoyed by people of all nationalities. It's a unique chance to see the very best of Europe in just one night, so BE part of it. Your ticket includes a post-show discussion with all the performers, live music from local musicians and a delicious sit-down meal. Spanish company Kulunka Teatro present Andr? and Dorine, an old couple who are forced to find ways to remember what once joined them together after the sudden onset of Alzheimer's disease - a moving story, beautifully told through full masks. In What Does Stuff Do? Bristol-based performer Robin Boon Dale will spend 30 minutes, literally, tripping his way through a part guide, part motivational speech on juggling. Romain Teule's show, Legende, unpacks the possibilities of language, and plays upon the (mis)interpretation of words, with amusing results.
