The Starving archiveThe Starving is a gripping and passionately told love story set during the Siege of Derry in 1689. A turning point in the establishment of modern-day relationships between Protestants and Catholics, many argue that it is this event which secured Protestant ascendancy both in England and Ireland. The loyalist war cry of 'No Surrender', still in use today, traces back to the siege.
