Over the last six months, five writers have worked with some of the most innovative and exciting artists in the UK, including performance artist Stacy Makishi, spoken work artist Polarbear, performer and poet Inua Ellams and director Ola Animashawun, to create new one-person performances that deal with a critical social issue. Part of the Southbank Centre's Poetry International, Re:Play is a bold new programme focusing on developing the skills of emerging BAME poets and writers. Five BAME poets and writers tackle migration, identity, women's rights and transracial adoption in an evening of fully-staged solo performances
