A live animation film. First World War soldiers' letters and diaries are brought powerfully to life in a theatrical synthesis of objects, voices, music and testimony. The performance includes testimonies of soldiers from many countries including Britain. Every element is created on stage, using materials form the mundane to the miniscule. It is then transformed into action as you watch on a large screen. What stays with you is not just the dazzling invention, but the moving stories of loss, violence and humanity.
