As restoration work on the Theatre continues apace, we continue our exploration of the undeservedly little-known dramatic repertoire of the late 18th and early 19th centuries with rehearsed readings of two more theatrical gems in March and June. A company of professional actors will breathe new life into these plays, providing you with an insight not only into what audiences in 1819, when the Theatre first opened its doors, would have been enjoying but also a taste of things to come when we re-open our doors next year.
