Dr Hook - featuring Dennis Locorriere archiveFormed around Union City, New Jersey, and originally named Dr. Hook & the Medicine Show, the band enjoyed considerable commercial success in the 1970s, with hit singles including Sylvia's Mother, The Cover of Rolling Stone, A Little Bit More and When You're in Love with a Beautiful Woman. In addition to their own material, Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show performed songs written by the poet Shel Silverstein.

A little disappointed in this 50th tour show. Have seen Dennis play many many times both his own songs with his guitar and also with a band. This concert moved away from an all male line up and included a female backing singer who at times sang over Dennis too loudly and spoilt the wonderful Dr Hook sound.
