During the American Revolutionary War, the maverick Dick Dudgeon is wrongly identified by the English forces as dangerous rebel: a turn of events that unsettles the moral certainties of the wife of the local pastor. In 2012 the Society of Authors, Mercury Musical Developments and RADA held a competition for new musicals based on the plays of George Bernard Shaw. This winning entry takes as its source one of Shaw's 'Plays for Puritans' This workshop presentation performed by RADA graduates and students, will be the musical's first public performance.
