Details
Inspired by histories played out around the docks of Liverpool,
Storming Out interlaces tales of those who come and go through the ages. The movement of populations is remembered through a handful of characters who may once have stepped on or off a ship - tradesmen, slaves, convicts, adventurers - all witnessed by the generations of dock workers. Capturing the hope in arriving and the trepidation of departing,
Storming Out is a testament to survival, a reverie of farewells and welcomes, a memory of three hundred years' worth of journeys.
