Janet Bennett studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and is one of Great Britain's foremost exponents of the art of self-accompanied singing. She gives regular recitals, makes numerous radio and television appearances and has released several recordings, both as a soloist and with her group The Border Minstrels.
