Details
It's Harry Shawcroft's first day on the job at a defunct NGO in Nairobi. Fresh off the plane he's desperate to help refugees integrate into their new societies through a holistic approach to development. The refugees however, have other ideas... Caught between his unhinged and cynical boss, Mr. Banks, and the bizarre demands made of him by the four refugees he meets, Harry realises he's in over his head. A social and political comedy, LEFTOVERS focuses on the inherent character and humanity of the individuals behind the label of "refugee". This play was commissioned by Xavier Project, a charity working with refugees in Uganda and Kenya, with all proceeds and donations going to the charity.
