Written by Peter Mortimer, Clockman is a fable for our time. It is the tale of a new-style Mayor who pledges to save the town's ancient clock from the corrupt developers and politicians, only to find himself eventually destroying everything he holds dear. The play is a satirical, comic, and political drama full of richly drawn vivid characters.
