Enter the world of the fabulous 1950's - hip coffee bars, beat girls, shady Soho nightclubs - and the creation of the teen idol. Johnie Jackson, a wannabe agent, is looking to sign young rock 'n' roll acts. He discovers singer Bongo Herbert. Then the real dog-eat-dog commercial world takes over, and Bongo gets catapulted into the hardened world of international stardom.
