Details

Setting the play within the cell of a secret prison, Mrozek introduces us to hapless police officers ludicrously pitting their wits against the forceful presence and intellectual superiority of the last political prisoner. The play focuses out attention on how the state reinvents the dissident in order to affirm its values.
