The Italian Festival in the United Kingdom provides an opportunity to see Media Aetas Teatro's production of Roberto De Simone's retelling of the story of Cinderella. The tale of 'The Cat in the Cinders' first made its appearance in print in Naples and De Simone goes back to its roots to relay the story of a girl who is subjected to great hardship by her cruel, scheming stepmother. Sung in Neopolitan Italian with English guidelines.
