Based on the book Mary Slessor: The Barefoot Missionary by Elizabeth Robertson, Mother of all the Peoples takes the audience back in time with Mary (now in her latter days), as she reflects on her inauspicious beginnings and unlikely journey to Africa. Following in the footsteps of David Livingstone, Mary Slessor embarked on a journey that would change not just her life, but the lives of many. This incredible story of bravery and triumph is told through the shy and modest figure of Mary Slessor herself who gave all credit to her achievements to God. This original cast of Mother of all the Peoples reunites one last time on the centenary of Mary Slessor's death to take part in a series of events taking place throughout Dundee and beyond in 2015 to commemorate the life of this unsung heroine.
