Details
In this comedy rival forms of justice collide in the form of La-Writ, the little French Lawyer. When he finds himself roped in as a second in a duel he develops a mania for violent retribution. His exploits are echoed by Lamira, who determined to be an honest wife, plots to slight dishonorable masculinity. Confusion and counter-plots escalate throughout the play.
