In After, a literary agent realises that his best client has been living with a corpse for two weeks (and that she s better company than you d expect). And in Furnace Four, the brilliant winner of this year s Westminster Prize (awarded by the Soho Theatre), two furnace stokers in an Orwellian dictatorship inexplicably discover that they are virtuoso musicians - a crime punishable by instant death. All three plays exhibit Muriel s signature off-beat wit and unhinged imagination.
