Deeds Not Words This highly original play charts events at Taskers School for Girls in 1908 as the pupils await a visit from Emiline Pankhurst, set against the staging of a play about the struggles of the Women's Movement in modern day Tasker Milward School. My Militant Sisters takes us on a journey through more than a hundred years - from a lively debate about whether the women of Great Britain should have the vote to how the movement developed through the ages. Rise up, women, for the fight is hard and long!
