Sweet Like Chocolate, Boy archiveA merging of timelines, lives, fantasy, reality, garage and the broiling estates of London; Sweet Like Chocolate, Boy is a piece about the day/lifetime of two black boys who grew up on the same estate in a mythical London borough that wonder magnificently on the impending combustion of their tower-block worlds. Mars looks forward and tries his best to talk in the present. A boy with a wild tongue and even wilder imagination, he is on his way to do something that matters with the girl of his dreams. However, when certain realities come to hit home, this brick busting imagination comes at a price. Bounty is from the past, a figure with a 3rd person omniscient tone and a searing matured storytelling mind that is way beyond his years. Yet, melancholy and revelation go hand in hand and are just playing stuck-in-the-mud around the corner... As Mars's story charts a whole day walking the heightened borough of Obsidian, Bounty's charts specific moments in his life time that tests his character to its core with ultimately devastating effect. Through this, a connection is linked between two boys and their time periods: the ever-changing face of their home, beliefs, hope, faith and world.
