The first "edible" play inspired by The Divine Comedy (it comes with a taste of genuine italian cuisine). For the seventh sesquicentennial of Dante Alighieri's birth, the italian cultural association "Facolt? di Ridere" is delighted to present the first "edible" play inspired by The Divine Comedy. The Gastronomical Comedy is a "mash-up" of a modern story about an Italian man's journey to London, and the first canticle of Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy: an epic poem about a journey in Hell (Inferno). Our modern-day Dante dreams of becoming an actor, but unfortunately he's a much better chef. Surrounding him on his journey are the lost souls of New Troy. Will he be able to escape his Inferno? Sit back and find out whilst enjoying a taste of genuine italian cuisine. The play is a 75 minutes long comedy-drama in English, with a pinch of music. It will also include a taste of a - stage made - "Trofiette al Pesto". Food will be provide by Acciuga Restaurant.
