Two one-act black comedies. The Good Samaritan: Samaritan Mike is bombarded by calls from the obsessive Arthur Darnley. What can Mike do to stop Arthur's attentions? The Death of a Hawker: Jane is married to the brutish Maurice and lives a humdrum life of suburban servitude until her ex-boyfriend Peter unexpectedly turns up at her door hawking encyclopaedias.
