Details

The Spare Bed tells the story of an asylum seeker from Zimbabwe and his unfolding relationship with the woman who provides him with a home. He is due to be deported, yet David Blunkett's decision to stay all deportations to Zimbabwe until after the election, gives him hope. The play concludes with the impact of the election.
