Morgan, a smart city high-flyer; pious schoolteacher, Patricia; Olivia, a skinny teenager and Keith, a bankrupt divorcee all gather for a luxury yoga holiday in Italy. Vittorio, a surly, brooding Italian local is employed as their domestic help. Ostensibly there for self-exploration and discovery through yoga and meditation, each of the guests is in fact going through their own personal crisis. Despite their superficial pleasantries, there are simmering resentments from the outset, with Patricia desperately struggling to keep up appearances. Vittorio makes a discovery of his own and his personal crisis is not one where he is prepared to go alone. His reactions plunge the guests into turmoil. However, in facing their predicament, they each seek a way of coping that explodes the contradictions and shifts their focus.
