Details
Two men, both eminent and respected in their time: one, the World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Gene Tunney; the other the prolific and famously controversial playwright, George Bernard Shaw. These two unlikely friends were devoted to each other, and relished their differences their opinions, and their interest and curiosity of their times. Ironically, perhaps, the boxer was more modest than the playwright - though both were bold observers of humanity and its problems and hopes.
