Subtitled 'When Women Go to Law, the Devil is Full of Business'. Webster exploits the theatrical potential of the courtroom showdown. The play celebrates the joys of practicing law and particularly taking the clients fees. "Shakespeare and the Lawyers" has been chosen as Globe Education's spring theme to complement the Globe's anniversary production of Twelfth Night in the Middle Temple Hall. The programme of staged reading and lectures will explore the lawyers' relationship to the theatre in the 16th and 17th centuries.
