The culmination of our three-week Summer Residency for emerging artists aged 18 - 25. Participants will work alongside a team of professionals led by Nir Paldi, joint Artistic Director of Theatre Ad Infinitum, to work towards the creation of a new piece of theatre, inspired by the Norwegian novel Kristin Lavransdatter by Sigfrid Undset, an epic tale of a woman trying to swim against the tide, set in the dark and frozen landscape of 14th century Norway. Working with Lecoq techniques of ensemble storytelling, the work will be highly physical, integrally musical, intensive, challenging and exciting - demanding high energy levels and absolute commitment. Past participants have seen it as one of the best vocational training experiences of their lives. Most have gone on to complete professional training courses, and many are now working successfully in the industry.
