A magical and melodious mix of comedy, drama, dance, songs and poetry! Double Act aims to enable disabled people to achieve the highest possible artistic standards by working with professional artists and designers in intensive workshops and rehearsals. Previous productions include original versions of classic tales such as Cinderella, the Wizard of Oz and Beauty and the Beast. Instead of following the Disneyfied adaptations, the company tend to go back to the source material, finding fascinating parallels between the Outsider status of many heroes and heroines in the old stories with disabled people today.
