Hatching Out is a season of music, dance and drama presented by final year students at Bath Spa University. The Ustinov and the egg play host to the graduating students of performing Arts; six plays a day for four days! This dynamic festival moves between the classic comedy of aspiring middle-class manners in Abigail’s Party, chillingly dark humour in The Pillowman, gritty tales in Can’t Stand Up For Falling Down, a refreshing take on The Importance of Being Earnest, poignant friendships in Steel Magnolias and a physical adaptation of Hemingway’s The Old Man & The Sea.
