She was also an extraordinarily talented composer and muse to two giants of the Romantic school. Last seen here in 2006, Beloved Clara tells the story of the intricate and complex relationship between Brahms, Clara and Robert Schumann, which has fascinated music lovers for years. As three of the nineteenth century’s most prolific musicians they hold an unparalleled position in music history and we owe much of what is known about them to the extensive letters and diaries they kept. Lucy will be joined on stage by the celebrated actors Henry Goodman* and Dame Harriet Walter*. Do join us on this special evening to help raise funds for your local theatre..
