Taste the excitement, smell the sounds, touch the sunshine, see the strawberries and hear the heat of a beautiful Bank Holiday afternoon in Battersea Park. Let your senses take you on a fantastic poetic journey around the park. Five local community groups of all ages, including the Doddington Activity Centre, the Windmill Project for Refugee Women with Children, Wandsworth Rathbone Youth Project, a group of Battersea Park employees and residents from John Kirk House, have created an afternoon of poetry and performance at sensory stops around the park. Please join them to follow the trail and experience this sensory extravaganza.
