Poetry hey? Isn't that that terribly serious stuff I don't understand? Lots of moping and finger-wagging and long words? And it doesn't even have the decency to rhyme anymore... If you think that, well, I wish I could say you were wrong...and for one night only, you absolutely will be! We've decided it's time to cheer ourselves up and with an evening of fun and frivolous verse that won't be raising many metaphysical conundrums because they're too busy raising a smile. The evening will also give us an opportunity to remember those Questors poets who we have lost recently - Alan Chambers, Anne Furneaux and Bernice Wolfenden - and even here we will be resisting the tears by letting their own words provide us with a good laugh. So join six of Questors finest orators, raconteurs, and limerists for some old favourites and new favourites-to-be, all designed to help you shake off the last couple of years and bolster you against whatever we've got coming... Remember, laughter is the best medicine. Well, apart from actual medicine, obviously.
