Details

Kate Clanchy's new collection, Newborn, is an intimate and daring sequence of poems about childhood, from conception through the first years of new life. She is one of the most prominent poets to emerge post-New Generation, and her work tackles the biggest subjects with perception and wit. Catherine Smith's narratives of alienation, nightmare and the surreal are peopled by characters at the edge and sometimes beyond it. Her new collection The Butcher's Hands presents her work to date.
