Barbershopera - Apocalypse No!

Barbershopera

Work:: Barbershopera (S01629003615)

Barbershopera is a comedy barbershop quartet featuring three guys and a girl and since 2007 has charmed audiences across the UK and internationally with their award-winning work. Their shows always retain the original, simple premise: three guys and a girl singing a fully formed a cappella musical.

Production:: Apocalypse No! (T2074500076)

The Eurovision Barbershop Contest approaches. Our manly quartet fancy their chances - until their tenor does a runner. He must be replaced, and fast, but the only option is a warbling female opera singer. Will our heroes overcome the obstacles of romantic intrigue, gender warfare and their evil Swiss rivals to triumph in Ljubljana? This award-winning musical comedy was recently heard on BBC Radio 4, and has delighted sell-out audiences in London’s West End and at the Edinburgh Fringe with its blend of sublime four-part harmony, irreverent comedy and festive medleys. Running time: 1hr 40mins (approx)
