Under the Floorboards archiveMother has died leaving her son Ed alone, and confused in a cold house in a country gripped by paranoia in a supposed age of innocence. Consumed by grief, he resurrects her spirit. But he is about to learn a horrifying lesson... the dead should never ever be disturbed! As what follows is a strange blood soaked tale of a protective mother and an obedient son. Based on the real life crimes of Ed Gein (who inspired Norman Bates from Psycho, Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs) comes a show that contains a grave robbery, evil recycling, offensive skeletons, a twisted home economics show and a mother that will do anything to protect her child.
