Marina and Alberto Verani have been happily married for twenty years, but Marina is becoming a little bored. Alberto thinks his charms are fading and to reassure himself he decides to pay court to the disirable Countess Arduini by sending her a bouquet of two dozen red roses. But the plan backfires when Marina discovers the roses and assumes that they have arrived for her form a secret admirer.
